 St. Joseph's is always looking for people who have been called to care for the elderly, chronically ill and patients requiring rehabilitation services.
Our nursing staff consist of RNs, LPNs, Medication Aides and CNAs.   Our support staff consists of Activities, Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance.

SUPERVISION:  Directed by the DON
WORK WEEK:   Full time 30+ hours, Part time 20 to 29 hours, includes weekend and holiday rotations
ACCOUNTABILITY: DON and /or Administrator
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
*To provide direct nursing care to the residents, pass medications, provide treatments as ordered, and to supervise the day to day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.  The nurse on duty will comply with all cart duties and will work in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and as may be required by the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

 CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT

LOCATION: St. Joseph’s Villa
DEPARTMENT: Nursing
JOB STATUS: Full-time and/or part-time, Non-Exempt/Hourly
SUPERVISION: Directed by the DON
WORK WEEK: Full time 30+ hours, Part time 20 to 29 hours, includes weekend and holiday rotations
ACOUNTABILITY: DON and/or Administrator

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
*To provide personal care to all the Residents and to adhere to all the standards of nursing care and to promote teamwork among co-workers. When assigned the CNA, you are responsible for all Residents ADL’s and general care issues. The C.N.A. provides activity-focused resident care, support of Residents’ families and implements each individual care plan as applies to each shift. These care issues may include but not limited to periods of rest, guidance needed in ADL’s periods of physical activity, bowel and bladder schedule, adaption of dining, nutrition and hydration needs, recreation schedule, visitation, behavioral intervention and environmental adjustments. The CNA works under close supervision.

SUPERVISION: Directed by the DON at Villa or Assisted Living Manager if at Assisted Living
WORK WEEK: Full time 30+ hours, Part time 20 to 29 hours, includes weekend and holiday rotations
ACCOUNTABILITY: DON and/or Administrator  and (Assisted Living Manager for Court Medication Aide)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
*To provide personal care to all the Residents, to adhere to all the standards of nursing care and to promote teamwork among co-workers. The CMA will adhere to the scope of practice with regard to the Medication Aide Act and State of NE Assisted Living Regulations, as well a facility rules, regulations, policies and procedures applicable in the performance of duties to enhance and safeguard resident(s).
